Jake finished the basketball season this weekend. It ended with a tournament of all the teams they played this season. Jake's team had the number one spot since they had the best record 11-1. They had an exciting first game. They were tied at one point, but pulled it out in the end. The second game was not so good. The score was 0 to 10 at the end of the first quarter. At the end of the game they were a 3 points behind and then the other team scored twice. They lost. But basketball is over! Track started today....
After the tournament we worked a little in my classroom. Then we went to the Studio Movie Grill in Dallas. It is a movie theatre where you can order food. Dinner and a movie. I really enjoyed it.
My students have 5 school days left before their big reading test. One of the tests they must pass to move on to 5th grade. I was at the school from 7:15 - 5:15 and I could've stayed a lot longer! Thankfully there are only about 60 days of school left....
